Dancing On Tables at Taverna Opa

The end of a great year has to be celebrated in a great way. With tasty greek cuisine, drinks, meze, and dancing on tables. Here's Taverna Opa South Beach according to themselves: "Previous dining norms are broken, spirits are lifted, with every single broken plate and every single napkin in the air. Taverna Opa is Fun, with a capital F." Thanks all DHP'ers for the hard work. 2006 was an awesome year. 2007 is going to be even better.

Visa Dinner at Barton G

It was a "Grandeza" dinner. Literally. The portions were as big as they were carefully art directed. We celebrated all the work done in 2006 and toasted to a promising 2007. At the end, needless to say, we paid with the number one card in the world. And we were this close to an Alka-Seltzer.

Delta Dinner at The Forge

Here's The Forge Miami according to CitySearch: "The sweet smell of money mingles with the heady aroma of dry-aged steaks cooked on an oak-fired grill. For 30 years, the Forge has been culinary ground zero for Miami's well-off and well-fed. Inside, the ornate decor features antique brick walls, pressed-tin ceiling, giant tapestries and stained-glass windows." We want to add that this place has one of the biggest wine cellars in America. That was our way to thank our first client for another great year working together. We look forward to help the New Delta take off in 2007.

Alamo Dinner at Blue Door

We had an incredibly yummy end-of-the-year dinner with Alamo at the restaurant Blue Door at the Delano (we recommend the ravioli for appetizer and the sea bass for main). We're excited with all the ideas we've been talking about for Alamo in 2007. So excited we don't mind going to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to talk about them...

Famous In India

Raj Kamble and Anselmo Ramos are considered local celebrities in India. The Mumbai-version of The New York Times has written an extensive article about their creativity, their take on the future of advertising, and their good looks. Raj was the first Indian adman to ever win an One Show Gold Pencil. Now Raj can go be back to his country and become a John Hegarty. And Anselmo can stay where he is and keep working.

One Show "Stella Artois" Gold on Gold

Our Head of Creative, Anselmo Ramos, and his former partner, the Art Director Raj Kamble, wrote a unique "Gold on Gold" piece about their Gold Pencil for Stella Artois "Coupons" campaign. Since they were the only "foreigner creative team" (a Brazilian writer and an Indian Art Director) working at a big New York agency like Lowe/New York, they decided to dedicate their Gold Pencil to all foreigners working abroad. They're even developing a website, twoforeigners.com, "The Official Website of Citizens From The Developing World Working In The Developed World." The goal is to create a place to share stories, cultural differences, tips, dos and donts, immigration laws, and even ways to get a green card. Which comes in handy when you're a multicultural agency like us. The site is still under construction. Meanwhile, you can read the Gold on Gold copy firsthand here. And for those who want to purchase the One Show vol. 28, go to http://www.oneclub.org/oc/store/?p=35. Obrigado and Dhanyavaad!

La Pinta, La Nina, La Santa Maria (by air)

They came by sea. We're going back by air. It's time for Venezuelans to be the reconquistadores of the Motherland. And it's a lot easier when you have daily flights, in-flight entertainment and comfy pillows.

"I Double Heart NY"

When you heart NY like we do, a second daily nonstop flight to that city immediately makes us think about tees and stickers.
